Job Summary
The Senior Business Analyst (Sr. BA) is a highly experienced, strategic business partner responsible for leading business analysis efforts across complex IT and business initiatives. This role is focused on a specific business unit or operational domain, ensuring technology solutions align with business strategy, operational priorities, and measurable outcomes. The Sr. BA serves as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and IT, driving clarity, alignment, and solution excellence. This role operates at a senior level by default and is expected to work independently, influence leaders, and elevate overall analysis maturity across the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Lead and manage the full business analysis lifecycle for complex or high-impact initiatives. • Serve as the primary liaison between business units, IT, and external partners. • Partner with business leaders to understand strategic objectives and translate them into clear, actionable requirements. • Conduct current-state and future-state analysis, identifying process gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities. • Facilitate workshops, working sessions, and stakeholder meetings to drive clarity and alignment. • Develop high-quality business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, and supporting documentation. • Ensure traceability from business objectives through solution design and implementation. • Collaborate with developers, ERP teams, integrations, and data teams to ensure solutions meet business needs. • Support testing efforts including UAT coordination, validation of requirements, and issue
resolution. • Identify risks, dependencies, and change impacts across systems and processes. • Drive continuous improvement within their focused business domain. • Elevate BA standards, tools, and practices across the organization.

Education & Experience • 7+ years of experience in Business Analysis or related roles. • Strong experience working with ERP systems and integrated application environments. • Proven ability to lead complex requirement-gathering efforts. • Experience facilitating workshops and stakeholder alignment sessions. • Strong analytical, documentation, and process modeling skills. • Ability to translate business language into technical clarity. • Experience supporting system implementations or major enhancements.
