
Southeast Sales Manager New Florida

Long Meadow Ranch Wine Estates is seeking a Southeast Sales Manager.
Long Meadow Ranch is a family‑owned agricultural enterprise producing grapes and wine, olives and olive oil, grass‑fed beef and lamb, fruits, vegetables, and eggs in the Napa Valley, Anderson Valley and Marin County. Our wine estates in Napa Valley and Anderson Valley are home to many‑faceted operation which includes the 650‑acre LMR Mayacamas Estate home ranch located in the Mayacamas Mountains above Rutherford and the 30‑acre LMR Rutherford Estate, located on the Rutherford Bench, and, in Mendocino County, the 145‑acre LMR Anderson Valley Estate. The Long Meadow Ranch operations also include an acclaimed farm‑to‑table restaurant, a general store and wine tasting bar in the historic Logan‑Ives House, an outdoor cafe, a farmer's market, working garden and a variety of unique event spaces all located at Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch.
Reporting to the Chief Sales Officer, the Southeast Sales Manager will work in conjunction with our distributor partners in the territory. This role will work independently as well as with our distributors’ sales teams to sell, establish and maintain relationships with on and off premise accounts in these markets. Additionally, this role works collaboratively with the entire LMR sales team on national and chain account development and maintenance.
Responsibilities
Oversee management of all sales in the territory with the designated wholesalers
Make direct sales calls on the key accounts in the territory
Work closely with the respective distributor’s sales representatives in the designated territory
Presentation of new wines to the respective distributors in the territory
Use the distributor resources and all available reports when applicable to track sales, inventory and progress
Use VIP, iDig and Karma sales tool to track sales, depletions, inventory and progress
Brand Management
Direct the placements and image of the products
Plan work‑with schedules in the territory; make arrangements for presentations and events with distributors, trade customers and consumers when in the territory
Work with CSO to develop budgets, programs and marketing strategies for territory
Provide frequent presentations to the distributor’s sales teams in general, individual team and manager meetings
Execute planning and presentations of events in territory
Execute planning and presentations for in‑store tasting or consumer educational seminars
Submit and maintain price change forms to ensure current listing are up to date at distributors
Provide LMR with consistent reports of progress regarding the territory
Provide status reports via e‑mail to LMR head office upon request
Communicate regularly with CSO
Oversee collections from distributors when necessary
Provide CSO with activity reports
Maintain distributors’ workbooks with goals, updated price structure, programs and notes
Education, Experience and Required Skills
At least 2 years of wine sales experience. Wine sales experience for either a supplier or a distributor is highly desirable
Bachelor’s degree in Business, desirable, or relevant work experience in lieu of a degree will also be considered
Additional wine education highly desirable
High proficiency in MS Office and Google Gsuite productivity tools
Proficiency in sales management reporting software a plus, VIP, iDig and Karma
Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record required
A pre‑employment background check is required
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Must be able to sit at a desk and work on a computer prolonged periods
Ability to lift 40+ pounds
Must be able to lift a case of wine periodically
Must be able to use various methods of transportation for travel
Compensation and Benefits
The Company reasonably expects to pay in the range of $110k to $130 for this position plus incentive program. Of course, this is depending on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, and business or organizational needs. This wage range may be modified in the future.
