Full-Time | Hybrid Compensation: Base plus Commission (DOE)
We are seeking an experienced Senior Mortgage Loan Processor to join our team at our national headquarters in the Salt Lake area. This role is designed for a seasoned processor who can confidently manage a high-volume pipeline and drive loans from submission through clear-to-close in a fast-paced, stable environment.
Candidates must live in Utah
. Hybrid flexibility is available after the initial onboarding period.
Position Overview
As a Senior Mortgage Loan Processor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day workflow of residential mortgage files, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across FHA, VA, Conventional, and Jumbo loans. You will work closely with Loan Officers, Underwriters, borrowers, and third-party partners to ensure timely closings.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a high-volume pipeline of residential mortgage loans from application through closing
Review and verify income, assets, credit, and supporting documentation
Serve as the primary liaison between Loan Officers, Underwriters, borrowers, and real estate agents
Proactively clear underwriting conditions to achieve clear-to-close status
Run and interpret Automated Underwriting Systems (DU / LPA)
Order and review third-party documentation, including appraisals, title, flood, and VOEs
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company guidelines, including TRID
Provide consistent and professional status updates to all stakeholders
Qualifications
5+ years of hands-on mortgage loan processing experience
Strong knowledge of FHA, VA, Conventional, and Jumbo loan guidelines
Proficiency with Desktop Underwriter (DU) and Loan Product Advisor (LPA)
Experience with Encompass or similar LOS required; LendingPad preferred
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage tight deadlines
