Position Summary:
The Personal Lines Account Manager supports clients with their personal insurance needs, primarily auto and homeowners coverage. This role focuses on servicing existing accounts, particularly Japanese expatriates residing in the U.S., ensuring a smooth and responsive client experience. This is a non-sales position with no cold calling or business development responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities: Manage and service personal lines insurance accounts (Auto, Homeowners, etc.) Support Japanese expatriate clients during their stay in the U.S. Handle policy changes, renewals, endorsements, and documentation Respond to client inquiries via email and phone (email communication is frequent) Prepare and process insurance-related documents accurately and efficiently Coordinate internally with team members and insurance carriers Manage a high volume of tasks with speed and accuracy Qualifications:
Entry-level candidates welcome; prior insurance experience is a plus but not required Business-level Japanese (email and conversational proficiency required) Ability to communicate in English in a professional work environment Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Able to work independently and make day-to-day decisions Adaptable in a fast-paced, evolving environment Alignment with company culture and comfortable in an American workplace setting
