Position: Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer

Role Overview The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer will support the continued growth and optimization of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) platform. This role is responsible for gathering requirements, designing, configuring, building, and supporting Marketing Cloud solutions, with a strong focus on email communications, customer journeys, and lifecycle marketing. The role partners closely with Product Owners, CRM teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable, data-driven, and compliant marketing automation solutions that enhance customer engagement and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities Marketing Cloud Development & Delivery • Partner with Product Owners and business stakeholders to review requirements and design Marketing Cloud solutions aligned with communication objectives. • Design, build, test, and deploy email campaigns using Email Studio, Content Builder, Journey Builder, and Automation Studio. • Develop responsive email templates and dynamic content using HTML, CSS, and AMPscript. • Build and maintain automated and nurture campaigns supporting acquisition, onboarding, engagement, retention, and reactivation use cases. • Create and manage Data Extensions, subscriber lists, and segmentation logic to support targeted campaigns.

Customer Journeys & Automation • Design and maintain multi-step, multi-channel journeys using Journey Builder. • Build user-initiated and triggered automations including data extracts, imports, filters, SQL queries, refresh groups, waits, and sends. • Support landing pages, forms, and microsites using Marketing Cloud tools.

Data, Reporting & Optimization • Support Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud data integrations. • Assist with data hygiene, list management, and system maintenance. • Develop reports and dashboards to track campaign effectiveness and KPIs. • Interpret campaign metrics and translate insights into actionable recommendations. • Plan and execute A/B and multivariate testing to improve engagement, conversion, and ROI.

Testing, QA & Support • Perform QA testing to validate email rendering, personalization, and deliverability across devices and clients • Apply tracking and monitoring across all marketing automation activities. • Troubleshoot Marketing Cloud issues related to campaigns, data, and automations. • Support end users and assist with ongoing Marketing Cloud operational requests.

Governance & Documentation • Document solution designs, architecture decisions, and implementation details. • Support monthly feature releases and continuous platform enhancements. • Ensure adherence to email best practices, deliverability standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., CAN-SPAM).

Qualifications Education • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Technology, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Experience •

3-5+ years

of hands-on experience with

Salesforce Marketing Cloud (ExactTarget

) . • Proven experience designing, executing, and maintaining automated and drip email campaigns. • Extensive experience with: o Email Studio o Journey Builder o Content Builder o Contact Builder o Automation Studio o Triggered Sends • Experience working with large datasets, list segmentation, and data extensions. • Experience performing email QA and deliverability testing. • Experience supporting end users, gathering requirements, and producing documentation.

Technical Skills • Strong proficiency in

HTML, CSS , and

AMPscript . • Knowledge of

SQL queries

and API concepts (preferred). • Understanding of CRM concepts and data-driven marketing. • Experience with responsive email design and dynamic personalization. • Familiarity with reporting, tracking, and campaign optimization techniques.
