Location: Austin, TX Employment Type: Full-Time, In-Office M-F Salary: $70K + 1015% performance-based bonus Benefits: Fully paid medical for employee & dependents, 50/50 dental & vision, 401(k) with 6% match, unlimited PTO + 9 company holidays About the Role

We are seeking a Residential Construction Estimator / Cost Estimator to join our operations team. This role focuses on financial analysis, budgeting, and cost management for custom residential construction projects. You will investigate cost variances, identify opportunities to save money, and negotiate with vendors and trade partners. This is not a field-based construction role. While occasional offsite meetings with contractors may occur, most work is office-based, supporting the operations and finance aspects of residential projects. Key Responsibilities

Analyze budgets, cost variances, and project financials Investigate causes of cost slippage and recommend operational improvements Manage relationships with vendors and trades, negotiate rates, and maintain strong partnerships Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making Collaborate with operations leadership to track and forecast project costs Qualifications

25 years of experience in residential construction, preferably in custom-home building Bilingual in Spanish and English Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities Degree or equivalent experience in construction, engineering, or related field Experience with production builders is acceptable but must adapt to a custom-home approach Team & Work Environment

Part of a 6-person operations team including leadership Full-time in-office for initial 6 months (hybrid possible afterward) Occasional offsite contractor meetings for relationship building Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $70K$75K Bonus: 1015% annual salary Medical Insurance: Fully paid for employee and dependents (Cigna OAP) Dental & Vision: 50/50 coverage for employee 401(k): 6% match Time Off: Unlimited PTO + 9 company holidays
