Compliance Specialist

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Compliance Specialist to join our Contracts and Procurement department (Contracts & Proposal Compliance team) supporting our Aeronautical Systems (ASI) affiliate. This position is located in San Diego (Poway), CA and offers a 9/80 flex hybrid work schedule. Under close supervision, this position performs contract and/or procurement analysis to ensure compliance to regulations, contractual requirements and Company policy. Duties and Responsibilities: Analyzes data and situations, and recommends solutions; contributes on actions to be taken. Compiles and analyzes data to identify trends and recommend areas for process improvement; participates in and recommends appropriate electronic and hard copy reports and records. May participate in the development, implementation and audit of policies, procedures and associated documentation; ensures compliance with appropriate statutes, regulations and Company practices. May interact with internal and external customers and audit agencies. Maintains the strict confidentiality of sensitive information. Performs other duties as assigned. Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company. Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.
