Senior Fixed Income Analyst
As a leading provider in data services, ICE offers real time and end-of-day pricing on 2.8 million fixed income securities. This data fuels analytic products to help clients better understand the value of securities in their portfolios, make more informed decisions and automate their workflow. The primary role of the Senior Fixed Income Analyst position will be to oversee the evaluation process for corporate credit instruments as part of ICE's Pricing and Reference Data Group. Strong knowledge of fixed income markets and experience in the corporate bond market is a must. Responsibilities: Daily evaluation of fixed income securities using proprietary models Credit spread analysis of primary and secondary markets Maintenance of pricing curves Collaboration with pricing analysts as well as product development and business analyst teams Establishing and maintaining market contacts; interaction with market participants Interpretation of market information and applying to the evaluation process Responding to time critical daily customer inquiries and challenges Researching and furthering specialist knowledge of assigned markets Monitoring news and market conditions and providing commentary as required Undertaking of ad-hoc research projects as directed by management Knowledge and Experience: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) preferred Strong understanding of global financial markets and the forces impacting fixed income movements and determinants of security valuation 5+ years of trading or analyzing fixed income securities Knowledge of practical applications of statistical analysis Proficient in Microsoft Office; SQL and Python skills a plus but not required Knowledge of the UAT process for the software development lifecycle Ability to collaborate with business analyst and product development teams Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills Ability to work under stringent time constraints, multi-task and prioritize workload Ability to digest market information and articulate in a structured and concise manner Team player with the willingness to take direction from senior management Independent self-starter, able to sustain productivity in a fast-paced environment Ability to facilitate superior market participant relationships New York Base Salary Range: The expected base salary for this role, if located in New York, is between $110,000 - 180,000 USD. The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange's incentive compensation. While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual.
