Proposal Specialist

Location: Chattanooga, TN Duration: Perm Compensation: 60K-80K JOB DESCRIPTION An Engineering client of Insight Global is looking for a Proposal Coordinator to join their Marketing Team out of their TN/OH offices. This role leads the development of Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) and proposals for municipal, state, and private-sector clients by reviewing RFQs/RFPs, coordinating cross-functional inputs, drafting and editing narratives, and assembling compliant, high-quality submittals aligned with client requirements, firm qualifications, and brand standards. Serving as a central point of coordination across all offices, the Proposal Coordinator collaborates closely with project managers, engineers, and marketing staff to gather project descriptions and technical content while maintaining consistency across service lines. The position also manages and updates proposal contentincluding resumes, project sheets, boilerplate language, and graphicsensuring accuracy, clarity, and thorough quality control prior to submission. In addition to proposal work, the role supports broader marketing initiatives such as qualifications packages, presentations, and occasional website or collateral updates, and may assist with developing standard templates, processes, and SOPs. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field 3+ years of experience in proposal creation, including RFQs and SOQs within an A/E/C firm Experience with Adobe Sweet, specifically InDesign
