Commercial Lines Placement Analyst
to join our Commercial Lines team in
Tacoma, WA !
How You Will Contribute
Update and maintain customer and policy information within our customer management system
Determine the appropriate markets to be approached for assigned accounts
Directly assist executives and producers in market selections
Negotiate pricing and coverage terms
Obtain and analyze quotations and declinations from various insurance companies
Calculate figures and provide oversight to trace, correct, and adjust errors
Complete premium rate comparison, coverage comparison, and loss analysis reports
Prepare high quality and accurate proposals for presentations
Monitor, identify, and develop new methods, new markets, and new opportunities
Develop strong working relationships with underwriters and wholesale brokers
Keep current on marketplace changes and trends
Maintain appropriate level of confidentiality of information processed
Duties are done independently or in a team environment
Other duties or special projects may be assigned
Licenses And Certifications
Property & Casualty License
Skills & Experience To Be Successful
5+ years’ experience in Property & Casualty
Familiarity with the appetite, coverage, programs, and guidelines of property & casualty insurance carriers
Experience using AMS360 or skills to learn software program at an accelerated ability
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
Pay Range $33.65 - $43.27 Hourly
The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
