Job Description The Commercial Lines Account Manager plays a critical role in managing and retaining a diverse portfolio of business clients. This position serves as the primary service contact for commercial accounts, ensuring accurate policy administration, seamless renewals, responsive support, and exceptional client experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for commercial insurance clients
Conduct proactive renewal outreach prior to insurance expiration
Advise clients on coverage options, billing and risk exposures
Identify gaps in coverage that are needed based on client needs
Manage the Renewal Lifecycle
Document interactions with clients and Underwriters
Work with the service staff to meet timeline
Work with Account Executive on marketing selected markets
Follow up with Markets for quotations.
Review and update proposal under the direction of Account Executive
Check for any discrepancy’s in submissions, proposals or other presentations
Work with Account Executive to provide final documentation for customers
Obtain information and produce Certificate issuance for customers
Check policies with submission/quotation/proposal
Invoice and follow up on billing
Qualifications
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
Comfortable on a Computer. Must be able to learn multiple programs and applications.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized with attention to detail and deadlines
Ability to study for, take and pass Insurance Property and Casualty test (we will train you on this)
Available to work 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday
