Commercial Lines Account Manager:
$50,000 – $65,000 per year *Noting this is all dependent on level of experience and other criteria to be considered. The Commercial Lines Account Manager is responsible for managing and servicing a designated book of Commercial Lines insurance business in collaboration with Insurance Advisors. This position requires strong technical knowledge of commercial coverages, excellent client service skills, and the ability to manage policy changes, renewals, and daily service activities with accuracy and professionalism. The Account Manager serves as a key point of contact for clients and plays a vital role in retention, account development, and agency growth. This position reports to the Commercial Lines Supervisor and/or Operations Manager. Key Responsibilities:
Manage and service a Commercial Lines book of business for specific Insurance Advisor(s), acting as the primary point of contact for client service needs. Work closely and communicate frequently with the assigned Insurance Advisor(s) to support account strategy and execution. Review Expiration Reports to ensure timely renewal of policies and maintain proactive outreach. Communicate with clients daily via phone, email, fax, mail, and in-person correspondence. Handle policy and coverage change requests, audit and billing issues, and process all related transactions, including endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements, and audits. Issue proof of insurance such as Auto ID Cards, Binders, Certificates of Insurance, and Evidence of Property promptly and accurately. Fully review, process, and transact select new business and renewal submissions in accordance with agency standards. Maintain thorough, current, and accurate activity documentation in the agency management system for all communications, follow-ups, surplus lines renewals, and service actions. Review existing policies for account rounding and cross‑selling opportunities; provide recommendations to Advisors and clients that enhance coverage, reduce risk, and help avoid Errors & Omissions exposure, while also contributing to agency profitability. Participate in carrier meetings when service‑related information is communicated. Stay informed on carrier updates, underwriting changes, and market trends that impact client coverage or service expectations. Ensure ongoing compliance with all company policies, procedures, and industry regulations. Pursue ongoing professional development, including continuing education and industry designations (e.g., CISR, CIC, etc.). Perform additional duties as assigned by the Commercial Lines Supervisor, Operations Manager, or agency leadership. What We Offer:

Qualifications:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required. Active Property & Casualty insurance license preferred (or willing to obtain right away) Prior experience servicing Commercial Lines accounts preferred. Strong client‑service mindset with exceptional communication and problem‑solving skills. Proficient in agency management systems and standard office software. Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team‑focused environment.
