Landscape Architect / Designer

Bayberry & Co, Hampton, NH, United States

Position Overview Landscape Architect / Designer

Bayberry & Co. , a multidisciplinary, award-winning landscape design/build firm working from

Boston’s North Shore to the New Hampshire Lakes Region and the Maine Coast , is seeking a special individual to join our team.

Our well-respected studio offers discerning clients a design and development experience rooted in artistic expression and grounded in sound horticultural principles. The creation of meaningful outdoor spaces begins with a thorough understanding and analysis of a property’s potential, coupled with a thoughtfully developed program.

As artisans of the landscape, we strive to craft creative, detailed, and beautiful exterior environments that patina with age. We scrutinize every stone, branch, and view corridor—bringing order and cohesion to what may otherwise be a disconnected portion of a client’s living environment. Drawing inspiration from architectural cues both new and old, our design process is comprehensive and intentional, allowing the true potential of the landscape to emerge.

This professional position will assist the

Principal Designer

in a true

design/build studio environment

with the development and execution of secured design commissions.

The selected individual will help facilitate awarded projects while coordinating with other members of the team. Responsibilities will include producing design drawings, technical plans, and supporting graphic materials and models, as well as assisting with project coordination throughout the design and construction process.

Fieldwork will be required and may include site analysis, client meetings, planting layouts, and construction coordination.

The position will also participate in business development and networking opportunities as a representative of the firm at industry and social events.

Most importantly, this role will utilize creative skill, imagination, and artistic talent to develop thoughtful design solutions aligned with our clients’ goals and aspirations. The ideal candidate enjoys working within a collaborative, energetic, and growing team and is willing to put forth the extra effort required to see projects through to completion.

Collectively, we are excited about the potential of this position and look forward to welcoming a new member to our family of dedicated professionals in a
