Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Low-Slope Roofing Estimator to prepare accurate, competitive estimates for commercial roofing projects. This role focuses on low-slope systems and supports bid development, pricing strategy, and project handoff to production teams. Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed estimates for commercial low-slope roofing systems (TPO, PVC, EPDM, Modified Bitumen, BUR) Perform quantity takeoffs from plans, specifications, and RFP documents Review drawings, addenda, and bid requirements to define complete scope Solicit and analyze pricing from suppliers and subcontractors Develop complete bid proposals including labor, materials, equipment, and overhead Coordinate with production and project management teams for scope alignment and handoff Participate in bid reviews, value engineering, and clarification meetings Maintain organized estimating files and historical cost data Required Experience & Skills
3+ years of commercial low-slope roofing estimating experience Strong knowledge of low-slope roofing assemblies and specifications Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings Proficiency with EDGE Estimating Software Experience with digital takeoff tools Strong Excel and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple bids under tight deadlines Preferred Qualifications
Advanced EDGE Estimating experience (assemblies, templates, historical cost data) Experience with Procore or similar project management software Experience with multi-site or national commercial roofing projects Competitive compensation based on experience, bonus potential, benefits, and growth opportunities.
