Assessment Lead Position Summary The Assessment Lead coordinates and leads day‑to‑day operations for JobTrain’s Assessment Center. This individual registers, tracks, and records all examination activities for clients interested in Career Training and Education (CTE) courses, collaborates with CTE staff on test‑related tasks, monitors center operations to ensure smooth technical performance, provides faculty assistance, and generally assures a high level of customer experience throughout. This role also supports registrations and outreach activities for our CTE programs. Hybrid after training period, onsite 3 to 4 days per week.

Major Duties and Responsibilities Assessment Center

Coordinate and lead day‑to‑day operations of JobTrain’s Assessment Center, including:

Coordinating and scheduling assessments (Wonderlic, Comprehensive Adult Student Assessment (CASAS), GED program referral and case management, etc.)

Recording student assessment scores and related information in Salesforce and ensuring availability of this information to course counselors and instructors

Collaborate with external partners (Five Keys, Canada College, Khan Academy, etc.)

Work collaboratively with Outreach Manager and CTE staff by completing various test‑related tasks needed to ensure exams are administered smoothly.

Maintain Salesforce and registration records in Salesforce and applicable learning‑management applications such as Wonderlic or CASAS.

Serve as the liaison between JobTrain and Wonderlic (or relevant vendor) under the guidance of the Outreach Manager to ensure procedural and financial compliance is maintained.

Compile test data to highlight themes and make recommendations to improve student outcomes.

Proctor assessments online and in person while ensuring test results are recorded internally and communicated externally.

Provide tutoring referrals and resources, testing accommodations where appropriate.

Promote the Career Training and Education courses with outreach efforts at recruitment events.

Career Training Registration Case Manager

Assist prospective students with completion of application and submission of documents, as needed.

Ensure that clients are smoothly and successfully transitioned to the appropriate Career Development Specialist for follow up.

Be available to answer additional questions or help with any aspect of the registration process as needed, collaborating effectively with appropriate JobTrain staff as required.

Other duties as required.

Qualifications Must Have

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining integrity and fairness.

Eligibility to administer Wonderlic or CASAS assessment.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to maintain the confidentiality and security of all exam materials before, during, and after the testing period.

Nice to have

Previous experience in a test administration role is advantageous.

Experience with Wonderlic or CASAS exam administration.

Experience in maintaining compliance while providing instructions and guidance to students.

Education / Certification

High School completion or GED.

Experience

Experience independently administering, coordinating, and improving one or more major program activity/components.

Experience proctoring assessments/tests or records validation would be ideal.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Job Knowledge:

Relevant and up‑to‑date knowledge of assessment requirements for Career Training and Education programs; knowledge of Wonderlic Assessment or CASAS Test; proficiency with content‑management systems and web applications such as Salesforce.

Planning and Organization:

Demonstrated track record of setting and meeting goals; strong organization, planning and implementation skills; ability to set priorities, analyze and resolve problems, and make decisions in a timely fashion.

Teamwork / Collaboration:

Must be able to use Excel, Word, and other technology and applications necessary to perform the job; technical ability to use a database management system.

The targeted pay range for this non‑exempt position is

$29.03/hr – $33.18/hr .
