Spine Sales Manager, Chicago and NW Indiana

The Arthrex Spine Sales Manager is responsible for achieving predetermined sales goals and quotas within the Chicagoland area. He/she will assist with sales and technical support of Arthrex spine products; this includes, but is not limited to, spine, biologics, and soft tissue products.

The Spine Sales Manager must establish, build, and maintain customer relations through constant communications and appointments in and out of the operating room.

Represent Arthrex Chicago, the exclusive agency authorized to sell Arthrex products in the Chicagoland area and Northwest Indiana. Arthrex is a world-class leader in the orthopedic industry.

Educate spine surgeons on proper instrumentation and techniques.

Increase territory sales by building and maintaining strong business relationships.

Communicate with current and new customer accounts regarding a variety of topics, including product updates, changes to product portfolio, and educational programs.

Implement new sales plans and effective marketing strategies to position the organization competitively and to meet/exceed territory objectives.

Cross-sell additional products or manage new product introductions as they become available.

Support compliance and the principles of responsibility by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non-compliance, adhering to applicable federal, state, local laws, regulations, accreditation, and licenser requirements.

Maintain training in sales skills, product features/benefits, and other critical business applications.

Collect competitive data and remain current on industry, customer, and competitive trends.

Represent Artemis Surgical and Arthrex at various industry meetings, attend labs, and tradeshows.

Education & Experience

Demonstrated ability to relate to health care professionals within the Spine, Orthopedics, and Biologics markets.

1+ years of demonstrated sales success in the spine implant industry or surgical team experience.

Must be comfortable in the operating room.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training

MS Office required.

Strong public speaking and communication skills are required.
