Position Summary Friedman Properties is seeking an

Entry-Level Leasing Associate

to join our energetic and collaborative team. This role provides hands‑on experience and active collaboration with real estate professionals across all facets of the organization. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented self‑starter with strong communication and analytical skills who thrives in a dynamic environment and seeks a long‑term career in real estate development.

Key Responsibilities

Support all phases of the leasing process - from marketing and prospect outreach to negotiation and execution.

Conduct property and suite tours with brokers and prospective tenants.

Prepare lease proposals, letters of intent, and commission agreements; assist legal counsel with lease documentation.

Review rent rolls, lease expirations, and market comparables to support portfolio strategy.

Contribute to acquisitions, redevelopments, and new developments.

Assist with annual budgeting, forecasting, and pro forma cash flow modeling.

Collaborate with marketing, property management, construction, accounting, and legal teams.

Build and maintain relationships with the Chicago brokerage community.

Stay current on leasing trends, comparable properties, and local market conditions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four‑year college or university.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); ability to learn Yardi and Costar.

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities; able to manage multiple priorities.

Financial modeling or underwriting experience preferred.
