
Inside Sales Representative

Under the direction of the Director of Sales, the Inside Sales Representative is responsible for proactively engaging customers to generate new sales opportunities and grow revenue across the ITS installed customer base and targeted market segments. This role focuses on outbound customer outreach, identifying needs, and converting conversations into sales orders for spare parts, services, and related aftermarket offerings.
Success in this role requires strong communication skills, persistence, and the ability to consistently engage customers through phone and email to drive sales activity and results.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may expand to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.
Proactively contact customers through outbound phone calls, emails, and follow-ups to generate sales opportunities and grow order volume.
Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate ITS spare parts, services, and aftermarket solutions.
Drive sales across offerings including, but not limited to:
Spare Parts
Service and Maintenance
System Audits
Upgrades, Retrofits, and Modernizations
Warranty Extensions
Obsolete Part Replacements
Qualify customer inquiries, identify decision-makers, and advance opportunities toward quotes and orders.
Maintain consistent outbound activity to engage new and existing customers and follow up on inactive or stalled opportunities.
Collaborate with field sales, CSS, and internal teams to ensure smooth handoff of qualified opportunities and timely customer support.
Accurately document customer interactions, opportunities, and sales activity in CRM and ERP systems.
Follow up on quotes and proposals to drive timely closure and conversion.
Stay informed on ITS products, services, and competitive offerings to effectively position solutions during customer conversations.

Experience in inside sales, outbound sales, or customer-facing sales roles.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with confidence engaging customers by phone and email.
Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and accountability for results.
Ability to manage rejection and maintain momentum through consistent follow-up.
Highly organized with strong time-management and prioritization skills.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-oriented sales environment.
Proficiency with CRM systems and general office software (Microsoft Office).
Experience selling industrial, technical, or manufacturing-related products or services.
Background in spare parts, aftermarket, or service-based sales.
Familiarity with working toward activity and revenue targets.
Role involves a minimum of 5% Domestic and International travel as required.
