Position Specific Description
Drive the future of energy infrastructure for data centers powering AI. This high-impact role has executive exposure and puts you at the center of NextEra's strategic growth in the AI market, supporting transformative energy projects that will power giga-watt scale energy centers.
Execute multi-billion dollar transactions including M&A, joint ventures, and development projects
Support senior leadership with strategic recommendations and detailed project analysis
Drive cross-functional collaboration across development, finance, and operations teams
Requirements:
Looking for a motivated professional with 3-5 years of consulting, banking or finance experience with a strong passion for the energy industry
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with high ownership mentality
Excellent communication skills with ability to influence across all organizational levels
Advanced proficiency in Excel (financial modeling) and PowerPoint (executive presentations)
MBA preferred

Job Overview Job Duties & Responsibilities
Manages all aspects of the day to day transaction process to ensure timely completion as well as a cost effective and competitive results
Leads and coordinates key functions such as financial feasibility analyses, engineering/design, project legal review, permitting activities and financial negotiations
Coordinates due diligence activities with other internal groups to ensure proper analysis and structuring of assigned projects
Acts as liaison between internal and external specialists regarding procurement, contracting, permitting and interconnection
Constructs contractual arrangements for project development
Negotiates agreements with consultants and subcontractors
Ensures compliance with applicable technical and regulatory requirements
Fosters external relationships with customers, third parties and members of the community
Identifies opportunities and negotiates power sales contracts
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
High School Grad /GED
Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
Experience: 7+ years
