Dining Services Associate - Position Summary Our Dining Associates play a vital role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for our residents. This position supports all aspects of meal service by assisting with food preparation, service, and dining room operations in accordance with established food service policies and procedures. They work closely with the dining team and report directly to the Director of Dining Services.

Dining Services Associate - Essential Responsibilities
Provide friendly, courteous meal service to residents, ensuring food is palatable, appetizing, and attractively presented
Serve meals promptly while following established portion control and dietary guidelines
Assist with meal setup, including trays, food carts, dining rooms, and snack preparation
Support the kitchen team by assisting with basic food preparation as needed
Distribute and collect menus and assist with checking diet trays prior to service
Deliver and retrieve food carts and trays from designated areas
Perform dishwashing duties and ensure utensils and equipment are clean, sanitized, and properly stored
Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including tables, floors, refrigerators/freezers, and equipment
Remove trash and keep all areas clean, dry, and free of safety hazards
Assist with obtaining food and supplies for upcoming meals
Adhere to all Morningside Elite Management standards, safety practices, and sanitation guidelines
Maintain a positive, professional, and respectful attitude toward residents, visitors, and coworkers at all times
Dining Services Associate - Requirements
High School Diploma or General Education Degree; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
