About No Fret Guitar Camp
No Fret Guitar Camp is a faith-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit ministry dedicated to transforming the lives of children and teens through music, mentorship, and the love of Jesus Christ.
We partner with churches and community organizations to provide free beginner guitar camps, instruction, and a free guitar to every student. Since our founding, we’ve served over 1,600 youth across multiple states and are entering a season of intentional growth and sustainability.

Position Summary Location:
Tampa, FL (Open to Remote / Hybrid Position) Time Commitment:
Part-time, ~15–25 hours per week Compensation:
Initially, $25-$35 per hour. As the ministry grows in reach and resources, there is potential for expanded hours and compensation.
The Managing Director is the primary day-to-day leader of No Fret Guitar Camp. This role exists to run the ministry well, protect its heart, and help it grow responsibly.
This position blends operations and program leadership with relationship-based fundraising and partnership development. The Managing Director works closely with the Founder and Board, allowing the Founder to step out of daily operations while remaining focused on vision and advocacy.
This role is ideal for someone who is:
Highly organized but deeply relational
Confident in fundraising, donor cultivation and strategic partnership development
Passionate about youth ministry and music outreach
Willing to both execute and ask for support
Primary Responsibilities Program & Operations Leadership (~25%)
Oversee planning, scheduling, and coordinating guitar camps with host churches and partners
Ensure all logistics are handled (materials, guitars, volunteers, timelines)
Serve as primary point of contact for camps, volunteers, and hosts
Maintain program calendars, records, and basic impact tracking
Oversee and ensure camps run smoothly without founder involvement
Volunteer & Church Partner Support (~20%)
Identify and cultivate new church partnerships
Maintain clear communication with host churches and organizations
Ensure expectations, timelines, and responsibilities are understood
Build trust-based relationships that lead to repeat partnerships
Fundraising & Resource Development (~45%)
Cultivate and steward relationships with donors, churches, and sponsors
Participate personally in donor conversations and solicitationsDevelop and execute a realistic, relationship-based fundraising plan
Assist with donor follow-up, acknowledgments, and reporting
Strategic & Organizational Leadership (~10%)
Collaborate with the Founder to develop a national growth strategy
Support and engage the Board of Directors
Improve systems, documentation, and repeatability
Identify opportunities for sustainable growth
Qualifications (Must-Haves)
Strong organizational and communication skills
Experience leading programs, nonprofits, ministries, or volunteer teams
Comfort asking for financial support in a relational, mission-driven way
Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
Alignment with the Christian mission and values of No Fret Guitar Camp
*Guitar experience not required.

Camps run smoothly without founder involvement
Volunteers and host churches feel supported and informed
Systems are organized, documented, and repeatable
Fundraising relationships are growing and healthy
The ministry grows to serve more youth without losing its heart
Initial Term This role will begin with a 90-day trial period with clear goals related to:
Operational ownership
Founder transition
Program consistency
Early fundraising and partnership activity
