The Director, Commercial Marketing will lead and develop a team of marketers responsible for the Lung Diagnostics portfolio, including Nodify Lung® Nodule Risk Assessment tests, IQLung™ Treatment Guidance tests, and pipeline diagnostic tests. This role is accountable for developing brand and growth strategies for the portfolio and ensuring marketing initiatives directly support revenue growth, field execution, and customer adoption. The Director will partner closely with Commercial Leadership to translate product strategy into actionable, field-ready programs that accelerate performance.
This position will have the exciting opportunity to own the marketing strategy for the company’s primary growth driver.
THE ROLE This role is responsible for driving the strategic direction and execution of marketing initiatives across the Lung Diagnostics portfolio. Key responsibilities include:
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Lead and develop a team responsible for execution of brand strategy and lifecycle management across the Lung Diagnostics portfolio
Develop and execute annual brand and growth plans that align with corporate objectives and support revenue, utilization, and adoption goals
Serve as the internal expert on the market landscape, including customer needs, competitive dynamics, and emerging clinical trends
Translate clinical evidence, product capabilities, and market insights into clear positioning, messaging, and strategic marketing initiatives that drive clinical and payer adoption
Partner closely with Sales Leadership and Market Access to align messaging, campaigns, and tools that support field execution and customer engagement
Oversee development of sales enablement materials, including positioning guides, competitive insights, training resources, and promotional campaigns
Direct launch planning and commercialization efforts for new and existing diagnostic tests, ensuring strong field readiness and post-launch performance tracking
Build relationships with key opinion leaders and represent the brand at industry meetings and clinical conferences
Monitor marketing program performance and ROI, using market feedback and data to refine strategy and inform leadership recommendations
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Demonstrated success developing and executing product marketing strategies that drive adoption and revenue growth
Experience managing product lifecycles, including both on-market growth strategy and support for new product launches
Demonstrated success as a marketing leader with the ability to think strategically, drive decision making with internal and external data, facilitate cross-functional meetings, and present to senior management
Strategic thinker with the ability to translate clinical and technical data into clear, differentiated, customer-facing messaging
Experience leading and developing high‑performing marketing teams
Highly collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a fast‑paced growth environment; 25% travel expected to support sales efforts and attend team meetings and industry conferences
Colorado-based or willing to relocate to Louisville, CO; this is an onsite leadership role
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
8+ years of progressive product marketing or commercial marketing experience within diagnostics, medical device, or related healthcare industry
Experience leading and developing marketing teams in a performance‑driven environment
Experience supporting or leading product launches with strong field execution
Demonstrated success driving commercialization efforts that resulted in measurable revenue growth and adoption
BS degree in relevant field or equivalent
Experience in diagnostics preferred; experience in medical device or other healthcare sectors will also be considered
Demonstrated proficiency with marketing software (e.g. Salesforce.com, HubSpot, WordPress) and the Microsoft Office suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Graphic design skills are a plus
