The Director of Healthy Living plays a vital role in advancing the YMCA’s mission of strengthening community by connecting people to their potential, purpose, and one another. This position is responsible for providing leadership and oversight for health, wellness, and aquatics programs, ensuring a welcoming, supportive, and mission-driven experience for those served by the YMCA.
Through relationship-building, collaboration, and service, the Director of Healthy Living supports engagement, connection, and belonging across health, wellness, and aquatics programs and services.

Bachelor’s degree in health, recreation, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in health, wellness, aquatics, or recreation.
Prior experience supervising staff and managing budgets.
Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Proficient in digital tools and technology.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience working with diverse populations.
