Customer Experience and Regional Sales Representative

Overview This role represents the company at the front line with customers and is often the primary point of contact. About Premier Power Maintenance Founded in 1985, Premier Power Maintenance provides high voltage specialty services including NETA testing, protection and control commissioning, life extension, and specialty construction services. The company operates across six primary areas: Safety Training, Engineering, Installation, Commissioning, Preventative Maintenance, and Repair, with a focus on safe, dependable, uninterrupted power for customers.
What you will do Regional sales and business development
Own sales and marketing performance for the region
Develop and support regional sales, marketing, and business development plans
Identify market opportunities through research and planning
Build new and existing customer relationships through communication, trust, and responsiveness
Conduct sales outreach through phone, in person visits, and other channels
Maintain strong rapport with customers and consistently follow through and follow up
Identify and reach decision makers through research and cold calling when needed
Customer experience and proposals
Provide exemplary service from first contact through project completion
Develop project proposals and quotes based on customer needs, including scope documentation and solution research
Support final report review and help plan next steps after project completion
Brand and industry presence
Support marketing efforts that promote the company brand and culture
Participate in trade shows and professional organizations to present and promote the brand
Promote the company culture as a great place to work
Protect company integrity by keeping information confidential as required

Customers feel taken care of and clearly communicated with at every step
Sales goals are met through disciplined outreach and strong relationships
Proposals and quotes are accurate, timely, and aligned to customer needs
The region grows through new opportunities while retaining and expanding existing accounts

What we are looking for Core skills
Strong knowledge of the sales process and long term customer development
Strong organization, communication, presentation, and problem solving skills
Ability to listen, assess customer needs, and develop solutions independently or with a team
Ability to prioritize work, track progress, adjust quickly, and meet deadlines
Comfortable working independently and with others in a professional manner
Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and business systems
Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally with customers, peers, and leadership
Technical understanding
Basic understanding of electrical systems from 480V through 765kV, including generation, transmission, and distribution concepts
Familiarity with UPS systems, renewable energy, and emerging energy technologies is helpful
Ability to sell technical services to customers ranging from non technical to expert
Experience and education
At least 3 years of sales experience in electrical industrial environments such as construction, maintenance, testing, commissioning, and repair
Electrical service sales experience and testing industry knowledge preferred
Basic knowledge of specialized equipment and diagnostic testing techniques preferred, training provided
Ability to achieve NETA Level II within 24 months of employment
Work environment and requirements
Work near live electrical substations in close but safe proximity
Blend of office work, remote work, and customer visits
Minimal overnight travel
Willingness to take calls and travel outside normal business hours when needed
Other requirements
Must pass pre employment background check, education verification, and motor vehicle report
Must pass pre employment drug and alcohol test and comply with random testing
Valid driver’s license required
Willingness to obtain company paid TWIC card, OSHA 10 or 30, MSHA, NFPA 70E, and CPR training
