Job Title: Analyst, Domestic Television Sales Planning & Analysis Summary of Position Lionsgate is seeking an Analyst to support its Domestic Television Sales Planning & Analysis function. In this role, you will drive planning, forecasting, and strategic insights across Domestic Television sales, spanning Pay TV, Free TV/Basic Cable, and the fast‑evolving SVOD and AVOD landscape. You will partner cross‑functionally with Sales, Operations, Accounting, IT, and Corporate FP&A to streamline data processes and strengthen reporting capabilities through Salesforce, SAP, and Tableau. The ideal candidate is a detail‑focused, analytical professional with a strong strategic mindset.
Responsibilities
Develop, manage, and analyze territory level and media level reports and trackers to provide key insights and recommendations; perform variance and trend analysis
Support business operating reviews, enabling discussions about the current and future state of the TV Business in US and Canada
Support annual business plan process for corporate planning and prepare quarterly re‑forecasts
Work closely with FP&A and Accounting to ensure that actuals are tracking close to forecast and Budget any deviations from forecast or Budget are analyzed, understood and investigated
Track key title avails to optimize library performance
Track ultimate performance of library titles
Work closely with IT team to build Tableau dashboards to summarize historical sales data by title and territory.
Perform ad‑hoc analysis for upper management
Qualifications and Skills
1-3 years of experience working in Television and SVOD Planning
Bachelor’s degree with a major in Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics or related field
Have excellent Excel skills including creating financial models
Must be highly motivated with the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment
Must have interest in Movies and Television of various genres
Nice to Haves
SAP, Salesforce and Tableau experience a plus
Entertainment industry experience a plus
