Our client is looking for a Lead Installer / Carpenter to join their team in Rochester, New York.

Pay Rate: $30 - $35 an hour

Summary The Lead Installer is responsible for leading the successful installation of specialty products on commercial job sites. This role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership in the field, coordination with internal project teams and customers, and full ownership of site safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction on assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities

Develop a thorough and working knowledge of all assigned project scopes,drawings, specifications, and installation requirements.

Lead & Perform the installation of specialty commercial products, including but not limited to:

Lockers

Toilet partitions and accessories

Signage

Cubicle track and curtains

Apartment-style mailbox units

Other related specialty products

Coordinate closely with the Project Management team and the customer’s on-site supervisor to ensure installations are completed in accordance with the project schedule and job-site requirements.

Assign and manage daily tasks to installation crews to ensure efficiency,

productivity, and adherence to safety standards.

Implement the project-specific safety plan in collaboration with the estimator and

project supervisor prior to project start, and actively manage safety in the field

throughout the duration of the project.

Communicate compliance-related requirements to the installation team prior to

project start, and implement and manage compliance practices in the field

throughout the project lifecycle.

Maintain responsibility for site safety and compliance on all assigned projects,

coordinating with and utilizing the internal Safety Team as needed.

Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through professional

communication, responsiveness, and quality workmanship.
