Description The

Paid Media Specialist

is an entry-level media professional responsible for executing and optimizing paid media campaigns across digital channels. This role supports cross-functional teams with day-to-day campaign management while focusing on growing strategic planning and storytelling capabilities across channels.

Key Responsibilities Campaign Execution & Optimization

Manage search and paid social campaigns across assigned clients.

Conduct KPI discovery, keyword research, and competitor analysis for SEM campaigns.

Implement audience segmentation and manage bidding strategies.

Execute, optimize, and report on campaigns to achieve client objectives (fundraising, engagement, advocacy, lead generation).

Media & Budget Management

Support day-to-day media buying across assigned accounts.

Monitor campaign pacing to ensure alignment with approved budgets.

Maintain accuracy in setup, tracking, and reporting.

Collaboration & Growth

Partner with creative and technical teams to implement campaign requirements.

Apply digital advertising trends and best practices to improve performance.

Operate effectively within a remote, collaborative team environment.

Qualifications Education & Experience

Minimum of 1 year of experience in at least one of the following:

Google Ads (Search, Display, and Video certifications current)

Microsoft Ads

Paid Social

Programmatic

High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree in marketing or related field preferred.

Experience analyzing campaign data and performance metrics.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Working knowledge of digital advertising platforms, SEM principles, audience targeting, and performance KPIs.

Strong analytical capability with proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.

Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously with strong attention to detail.

Ability to manage budgets, prioritize tasks, and work independently in a remote team environment.
