Underground Utility Laborer/Operator Full Time Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laborer/Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various operational tasks within our facility, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities
Operate excavators, loaders, trenchers, jackhammers, and other equipment required to install underground utilities.
Perform hand digging, cable laying, and other labor duties necessary to complete restoration projects.
Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a labor or operator role preferred, but not mandatory – we are willing to train motivated candidates.
Familiarity with operating heavy machinery or industrial equipment is a plus.
Strong understanding of safety regulations and practices in an industrial setting.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
Driver’s license with a good driving record is mandatory.
