
Account Manager - Inside Sales - Part Time

Responsibilities
Develop, foster, and maintain strong customer, distributor, and manufacturer relationships Support the sales team with orders, samples and other manufacturer and distribution related activities Provide excellent service to our internal and external customers via phone, email and in person Perform Salesforce entry and management processes; maintain updated reports Assist with ordering/preparation and setup for food shows as well as breakdown/cleanup Present product lines/demo at shows with knowledge to advise customers Skills & Knowledge
Excellent at problem resolution, customer service and support. Positive attitude and willingness to try new approaches to challenges. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, and ability to learn other programs quickly. Detail oriented, accurate and efficient with assigned responsibilities. Lives in local area and is able to travel during the work week. Must possess a valid driver’s license and auto insurance with adequate limits. Preferred but not required – food safety certification. If don’t have prior to hiring, this would be part of the training. Education
High School diploma or equivalent. Preferred Skills and Experience
Experience managing multiple responsibilities in tandem The ability to interpret and use multiple information sources Experience establishing and maintaining working relationships with customers Foodservice sales experience (preferred but not required) Basic Skills
Sales and Marketing –
Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems. Customer and Personal Service –
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Language and Communication –
Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Travel & Physical Requirements
Must reside in the local market and be able to travel during the work week. Some local travel by motor vehicle is required; occasional distance travel may be necessary. Must possess a valid driver’s license, a clear driving record, a safe automobile, and auto insurance with adequate limits. Position requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, and turning. Must be able to lift up to approximately 75‑100 pounds consistently. Proper equipment will be provided. Benefits
Paid training Paid Time Off accrued based on hours worked This is a part‑time, non‑exempt position. Must be available between 8 am – 5 pm Monday – Friday. Estimated hours: 25–28 hours per week; schedule will change dependent on current sales needs. Schedule will be provided each week in advance.
