Outside Sales Representative – Outdoor Solutions Landscape and Paver Supply | Gilroy, CA | Full-Time
Outdoor Solutions Landscape and Paver Supply is a premier landscape supply company based in Gilroy, CA, specializing in paving stones and hardscape materials. We've built our reputation on exceptional service, competitive pricing, and one of the largest indoor showrooms in Northern California — and we're ready to take our next big step forward.
Our reach extends well beyond Gilroy. We proudly serve contractors and clients from Petaluma to Carmel and into Sacramento, backed by strong industry relationships and our own in-house trucking operation.
As we continue to grow with intention, we are seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative who shares our belief that service is the product — everything else is just the result of doing business the right way. The ideal candidate brings hardscape industry knowledge, a contractor-first mindset, and the drive to build lasting relationships while actively developing new business. This is a role for someone who takes ownership, follows through, and isn't afraid to hustle.
Responsibilities
Build and manage a defined sales territory by developing and maintaining strong relationships with landscape contractors, hardscape installers, designers, and builders
Actively prospect for new accounts through job site visits, referrals, cold outreach, and industry networking
Serve as the primary point of contact for your accounts, delivering responsive, knowledgeable, and solutions-oriented service
Collaborate with showroom staff, inside sales, and logistics to ensure a seamless customer experience from quote to delivery
Prepare and present competitive quotes and proposals, managing the full sales cycle from initial contact through close
Identify new vendor and product opportunities that align with customer demand and company growth objectives
Track pipeline activity, account performance, and territory trends; report regularly to ownership
Represent Outdoor Solutions at trade shows, industry events, and association functions as needed
Stay current on hardscape product trends, new offerings, and competitive activity within the territory
What We're Looking For
Minimum 2–3 years of outside sales or account management experience in hardscape, landscape supply, construction materials, or a closely related field
Solid working knowledge of paving stones, hardscape products, and installation practices
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Highly self-motivated with the ability to manage a territory independently and with accountability
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; regular travel within the sales territory required
Proficiency with standard business tools including email, CRM platforms, and quoting software
