
Sales Account Manager / Office Coordinator

Vinwood Caterers are a growing business in Ipswich, MA as a premier off‑site catering service. We are professional, customer‑centric, bold, and our goal is to remain consistently voted as THE BEST Caterer on the North Shore by our clients. We have been in business for over 40 years and are known for providing fresh, locally and seasonally driven, and customized menus for our broad‑ranging clientele. We are looking for an enthusiastic Account Manager to oversee the sales and coordination for selected venues.
Responsibilities
Plan & create event timelines, menus, flow of service, bar options, "the entire vision"
Execute as Event Manager/Coordinator at events such as weddings, corporate meetings, and private home social gatherings
Meet strict planning deadlines such as contracts, deposits, and final counts from clients and vendors.
Coordinate with clients to understand their event requirements and preferences
Oversee event setup and service, including seating arrangements, audiovisual equipment, and decorations
Coordinate and communicate with banquet staff to ensure smooth execution of events including Venue Management
Provide exceptional guest services and address any issues or concerns that may arise during events; must be a problem solver and quick thinker for solutions.
Requirements
Co‑ordinator positions: Weekend availability is required, with weekday flexibility. Week‑to‑week hours will vary based on demand; Peak Season is April‑November.
Ensure all Vinwood Caterer’s core values, procedures and standards are implemented and upheld throughout the entire planning process, including day of event execution
Maintain a professional image at all times through appearance and dress
Must have own reliable transportation
Ability to handle high volume, fast pace and multi‑tasking
Must possess attention to detail
Exceptional client relations and customer service abilities
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years experience in Event Planning/Coordination (Weddings)
Previous experience in event management or hospitality industry preferred
Strong organizational and multitasking skills to handle multiple events' files simultaneously
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, vendors, and staff members
Extremely high level detail‑oriented mindset to ensure all aspects of an event are properly executed
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
