Travel: 70%-day travel in the field and 10% overnight based on the assigned territory.

How You'll Make an Impact As a Donor Relations Account Manager you will play a vital role in advancing our mission. In this position you will be responsible for promoting, building, and managing tissue donation and recovery programs throughout the designated territory. You will display integrity, honesty, and knowledge, serving as a resource for customers, donation partners, and stakeholders such as hospitals, hospices, funeral homes, medical examiners, law enforcement agencies, donor families, and organ procurement and eye bank organizations.
What You'll Do
Service Plan Implementation: Manage the service plan implementation for existing LifeNet Health Donation Partners, including events and/or meetings and key marketing and public relations events. Provide training on the donation process, technology changes, best practices for donation consent, and updated procedures in relation to tissue banking. Manage specific programs and/or initiatives such as LEAN initiatives to assess and improve access to clinical tissue and other specific research tissue requests. Conduct rounds with Donation Partners and assist with OPO/Recovery Agency development to increase tissue donation and education.
Account Management: Manage accounts to build and guide key relationships in assigned hospital system and/or recovery agencies with Executive Leadership Teams, Risk Managers, Quality departments, Nurse Managers, Chaplains, and other administrative offices.
Business Relationships: Develop a broad base of support for LifeNet Health products and services by maintaining quarterly contact with clinicians, medical examiners, funeral home partners, coroners, recovery agency and hospital decision makers. Work in conjunction with LifeNet Health Bio‑Implant Specialists to tie existing and potential distribution opportunities for conversion and/or maintenance of the existing referral process, and collaborate with donation partners such as OPOs and eye banks.
Continuous Improvement and Reporting: Provide statistical reports for each contracted hospital to maintain CMS and JCAHO compliance standards. Assist hospitals and recovery agencies with process improvement through policy and procedure refinement that maximizes tissue donation, aligning with industry standards and legal requirements. Review tissue donation data with key Executive Leadership partners and report on territory activity, growth opportunities, and competitive analysis to management. Update data/contacts in LifeNet Health tracking system.
Communication: Partner with LifeNet Health tissue recovery department to resolve complaints and provide marketing and professional education. Support the LifeNet Health Funeral Home Advisory Board and assist in obtaining EMR for tissue recovery and quality assurance staff. Establish procedures for accessing current and future EMR records for partners.
Strategic Planning: Develop effective marketing tools and strategic business plans to maximize tissue donation in the region. Collaborate with marketing and public relations firms to develop initiatives related to community education and donation awareness. Perform community education through Donate Life programs.
What You'll Bring Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree (Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts)
Valid State Driver's License
5 years of experience in healthcare (tissue banking, organ procurement, blood banking, nursing, psychology, medical, EMT, etc.), marketing, sales, public relations, education, or business development.
Preferred Experience / Skills / Certifications
Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Organizational Development, Business, or Leadership.
Key Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Professional communication with refined presentation and public speaking skills with internal and external customers, partners, donor families, executive leadership, and the public.
Competent experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Complex knowledge of procedures, practices, and policies.
Ability to work collaboratively with team members.
Ability to gather and evaluate information to draw conclusions and identify trends.
Ability to anticipate and critically think through problems.
Ability to create and revise procedures, technical documents, and other material according to established requirements.

Compensation Salary Range: $75,841 - $101,121 annually
Final compensation will be based on factors such as geographic location, qualifications, and prior relevant experience. Actual compensation may be higher based on the successful candidate’s knowledge and experience.
