Position Overview As a
Sales Associate
on the Inside Sales team, you will work closely with leaders, marketers and product specialists who have deep knowledge and expertise in commercial real‑estate and digital marketing strategies. You will play a critical role in growing CoStar LoopNet Digital Advertising revenue by selling advertising and marketing solutions to new customers and growing existing customer revenues by advising owners and brokers on the best ways to advertise properties online. You will also ensure a high degree of customer service in every transaction and build deep, lasting relationships with your client base. The role is on‑site in our CoStar Group office in Richmond, VA.
Key Responsibilities
Relationship Management – Build relationships with clients to drive advertising revenue and become a trusted advisor on all matters related to their strategic marketing plan.
Business Development – Prospect new clients using CoStar Group’s extensive property data to drive sales and close new business.
Teamwork – Partner with colleagues across the LoopNet and CoStar teams to drive sales revenue.
Business Industry Acumen – Develop subject‑matter expertise in digital advertising strategies, commercial real‑estate and trends within your specific market territory.
Customer Focus – Develop strong client relationships by delivering outstanding support through regular, value‑added communication, sharing market insights and offering solutions that help our clients achieve their goals.
Build strong client relationships and prospect by conducting online meetings.
Basic Qualifications
One or more years of sales experience, preferably in web, publications, newspaper or magazine advertising sales or equivalent experience in the commercial real‑estate industry.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, required.
A track record of commitment to prior employers.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of commercial real‑estate (CRE).
Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas.
Driven, results‑oriented, loves working with others to solve problems.
Authentic team player, fun, energetic, with a terrific attitude.
