We are looking for a talented, experienced relationship-builder who thrives at the intersection of Sales and Operations. As our next Account Specialist, you’ll partner with cross-functional experts to deliver a seamless client experience in the Health and Life Sciences (HLS) space. Your mission: delighting customers, driving sales growth, identifying process wins, and ensuring every account flourishes.
Account Specialist – Health & Life Sciences (HLS) - Lenexa, KS, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Based in Lenexa, KS, this hybrid role offers a blend of remote flexibility and in-person collaboration. You will serve as the primary relationship manager for assigned client accounts, ensuring long-term business growth and exceptional client satisfaction. You will act as a "customer-obsessed" advocate, partnering closely with Sales, Operations, Mobile Phlebotomy network, and cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless experience and identify strategic process improvements. This role is focused on supporting growth, customer retention, delighting the customer, and HLS process improvement.
Hybrid work set up Office attendance is required 3 days a week. Tuesday and Wednesday are mandatory days, third day is your choice.

Responsibilities
The Account Specialist is the main contact for insurance accounts.
This individual works closely with our Executive Sales team to learn, solution and improve our business relationships.
They apply their large breadth of knowledge to anticipate customer needs, improve workflows, identify risks or opportunities, and solve any issues that might occur.
Main contact for customers’ business needs expected to resolve or identify a source for resolution.
Serve as liaison between all teams and departments:
Strategic Account Executives, Customer Service Group, Case Management, Quality Assurance, Imaging, Project Managers, Technical Account Managers, IT, Data Reference, Field Operations, Field Sales, Professional Services, Project Managers, Billing, Call Center, Attending Physician Statements etc.
Responsible for keeping all account information accurate:
Update our Customer Relationship Management tool, Salesforce.
Audit account codes for order placement and billing.
Review billing invoices.
Verify workflow processes.
Validate any project needs are correctly aligned.
Attend and contribute to client meetings, facilitate and lead client meetings and/or conference calls, join regional and national industry events and travel as necessary.
Provide daily, weekly, monthly and/or quarterly reporting metrics from various systems and data sources:
ExamOne Portal, Business Intelligence site, CaseOne, C4, SAS, ESS
Join, participate and/or lead daily, weekly, monthly and/or quarterly calls both internally and externally
Proactively identify areas of risk or opportunity and work closely with Strategic Account Executives to protect or gain business
Retain business through exception customer care, timely responses, proprietary insight, and relationship building
Qualifications Required Work Experience:
Must have 5 years of experience in a sales support type environment
Physical And Mental Requirements
Auditory and visible ability along with comfort with video meetings
Knowledge
Basic computer skills, proficient in Outlook, Microsoft Suite
Skills
Must be able to quickly and efficiently resolve urgent client issues.
Good oral and written communication
Observe strict confidentiality
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to set goals, multi-task and meet deadlines
Ability to work independently with little direct supervision
Accuracy with attention to detail
Present self and ExamOne in a professional, enthusiastic, and positive manner

Education
Bachelor’s Degree Bachelor of Science in Business, Marketing, Medical Technology or related field of study. Experience may be substituted for degree. (Required)
