
Brand Manager

Walker Elliott has partnered with our client to locate a Brand Manager drives brand growth by combining consumer insights, competitive analysis, and strategic marketing to create meaningful connections with customers. This role oversees brand strategy, product positioning, pricing, promotional planning, and creative development - ensuring every initiative strengthens market presence and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Market & Consumer Insight:
Study category, competitive, and consumer data to identify market trends and new product opportunities.
Pricing & Profitability:
Analyze product and competitive costs, customer pricing behavior, and margin reports to develop and recommend pricing strategies that drive profitability.
Marketing Strategy:
Develop, evaluate, and execute comprehensive marketing plans, including advertising, promotions, social media, and public relations campaigns.
Creative Development:
Lead the design and production of marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, videos, point-of-sale collateral, and digital media.
Brand Presentation:
Manage packaging design for both new and existing products to maintain consistent branding and shelf impact.
Agency & Vendor Management:
Select, negotiate, and manage external agencies or vendors. Monitor budgets and ensure marketing program efficiency.
Event & Sales Support:
Coordinate brand activation at trade shows, national meetings, and promotional events.
Performance Analytics:
Gather and interpret consumer and sales data to evaluate results, measure ROI, and guide strategic adjustments.
Leadership:
Manage and mentor a small team to deliver strong marketing execution and professional growth.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or related field
5+ years of experience in consumer product marketing or brand management
Strong analytical and strategic planning capabilities
Skilled in market research and data analysis tools
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, data visualization, and presentation tools
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent graphic design platforms preferred
Knowledge of digital marketing, e-commerce strategy, and social media engagement
Experience in sales or customer relationship management a plus
