About FormAlloy FormAlloy is a leader in Directed Energy Deposition (DED) metal additive manufacturing, supporting aerospace, defense, energy, and industrial customers with advanced repair, automation, and multi-material solutions. Our systems enable both powder and wire feedstock and are deployed in R&D, production, and sustainment environments.

Position Overview FormAlloy is seeking a part-time, hourly SDR/Inside Sales Professional to support customer responsiveness, lead follow-up, and early-stage sales activities. This role is focused on timely, professional engagement with inbound and outbound customer inquiries and supporting the technical sales team by ensuring prospects receive accurate information and prompt follow-through.

Key Responsibilities

Respond promptly to inbound customer inquiries via email, phone, and LinkedIn

Follow up with prospective customers and existing contacts to maintain engagement

Qualify leads and route opportunities to the appropriate technical or sales team members

Schedule meetings, demos, and introductory calls

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system

Support follow-up from conferences, trade shows, and marketing campaigns

Re-engage dormant leads and ensure consistent customer communication

Coordinate internally to ensure customer questions are addressed quickly and accurately

Qualifications Required:

Must be a U.S. Person

2+ years of experience in inside sales, SDR, customer support, or customer-facing roles

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Highly responsive, organized, and detail-oriented

Comfortable interacting with technical and engineering-focused customers

Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Experience using CRM tools, email, and virtual meeting platforms

Preferred:

Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or industrial technology

Familiarity with additive manufacturing or advanced manufacturing technologies

Experience supporting government or defense-related customers

Work Environment & Schedule This is an on-site role, with remote/hybrid work considered in the future. Typical workload is approximately 20 hours per week, with potential to increase based on business needs.
