Shift Details:

Full-time - 40 hours/week

Schedule:

Monday‑Friday from 8am‑4pm, with some nights and weekends

Compensation:

$45,000.00 annual salary - This is a 2‑year grant funded position

About the job:

This role combines volunteer recruitment with direct reentry support for program participants returning to the community. The Specialist recruits and supports volunteers, builds community partnerships, and helps participants stay connected to Amicus services during the transition from incarceration.

Recruit, screen, and support volunteers and mentors.

Build and maintain partnerships with community and faith‑based organizations.

Plan and implement recruitment events and outreach activities.

Support participants pre and post‑release through meetings, check‑ins, and service navigation.

Ensure participant engagement with reentry programs and volunteer mentors.

Track, record, and report data on volunteer activity and participant progress.

Collaborate with the Community Engagement and Adult Transition Services teams.

Required Qualifications:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Experience working with justice‑impacted individuals preferred.

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Understanding of restorative justice and reentry needs.

Ability to engage diverse communities and build relationships.

Creative, self‑motivated, and comfortable with outreach.

Must have own transportation and insurance.

Ex‑offenders strongly encouraged to apply.
