
Senior Product Designer

Responsibilities
Lead design efforts to visualize the future of our end‑to‑end user experience from concept to delivery on all platforms (web, iOS, Android)
Facilitate brainstorming and concepting sessions with cross‑functional product teams to elicit ideas and help build shared understanding of our users and use cases
Identify opportunities to maximize customer value and business outcomes
Drive the development of hypotheses, objectives, and requirements to develop concepts for our product strategy and roadmap
Work closely with Product and Engineering to rapidly iterate on designs based on user feedback, tech constraints, and market dynamics
Participate in user research activities by testing and measuring ideas that make a positive impact on the experience
Use customer‑driven insights to deliver simple, yet elegant solutions that bring clarity to an otherwise complex space
Present designs and solicit feedback from partners and stakeholders across the organization
Elevate the craft and quality of our products and web‑based tools
Be a strong advocate for user‑centered design principles and best practices
Other duties as assigned
Compensation Pay ranges from $15-$22/hr
Skills & Requirements
5+ years of experience in product/interaction design or a combination of education and experience in this field
Strong design background with experience in information architecture, UI design and creating interactive prototypes
Experience working in an agile, sprint‑based development environment
Experience building and/or contributing to design systems
Experience with data visualizations & reporting tools a plus
A strong portfolio with best‑in‑class work across platforms and experiences that highlights your approach to problem‑solving
Must have fantastic communication with the ability to make decisions with empathy and strategy
Strategic product and systems thinking, with solid interaction and visual design skills
Excellent problem‑solving skills and familiarity with technical constraints as they apply to designing for desktop and mobile platforms
Comfortable working with ambiguity to create innovative solutions in emerging markets
Excellent leadership, communication and collaboration skills with cross‑functional teams
Ability to think long‑term and short‑term to meet the constraints of continuous release process while iterating toward a future vision
