A bit about us We are on the hunt for a dedicated and experienced Permanent Utilities Foreman – Underground in the Construction industry. This role requires an individual who is not afraid to get their hands dirty and lead their team to success. You will be the main point of contact for all underground utility construction projects and will be responsible for overseeing your team's work, ensuring safety standards are met, and projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities
Supervise and direct a team of workers on an assigned underground utility construction project.
Ensure all work meets or exceeds the standards set by the company and regulatory bodies.
Plan and coordinate the daily activities of your team, ensuring tasks are clearly communicated and understood.
Monitor the progress of projects, making sure they are on schedule and within budget.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth execution of projects.
Adhere to and enforce strict safety standards and protocols to ensure the safety of all team members.
Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of equipment and machinery.
Resolve on‑site issues and conflicts in a timely and effective manner.
Train and mentor team members, fostering a positive work environment that encourages growth and development.
Prepare and submit progress reports to upper management.
Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
Extensive knowledge of water, site work, and earthwork.
Proven experience leading and managing a team in a construction setting.
A strong understanding of construction procedures, equipment, and OSH guidelines.
Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
Proficient in interpreting and executing construction plans and blueprints.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work in various weather conditions and physical environments.
High school diploma or equivalent. A degree in a relevant field is a plus.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
