
RTW Associate Designer

Assist RTW Design team in the development and execution of all collections, VIP projects and Special Projects.
Create and update all design boards including Fabric Boards, Patternmaking Boards, Digital Boards, and Mini’s as needed.
Color up sketches for all linesheets and delivery boards, including ownership of the maintenance of color ups throughout the season.
Manage and update all digital flat technical sketches and specs used by factories in development and production phases.
Participate in all photoshoots as requested by Designers.
Sketch into fabric groups and ideas as directed by Senior Designer.
Participate in fittings by assisting in executing styles, taking notes and managing updates accordingly.
Work on 3-D mock-ups for each season as directed by RTW Senior Designer.
Realize designs and ideas through photoshop, manipulating and creating inventive design ideas and concepts.
Source fabric and trim locally for prototypes and inspiration purposes.
Hire and Manage 1-2 interns per season.
Qualifications
2-3+ years of relevant Design experience. Extensive Adobe Suite knowledge including high level Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator skills. Experience with draping, pattern making and a broad understanding of construction. Experience creating specs and design technical drawings. Strong hand sketching capabilities. Great communication skills, both verbal and written. High attention to detail, thoroughness, and organization. Exceptional work ethic and dedication to all projects and tasks with a strong ability to multi-task. Team player with eagerness to grow and learn. The targeted base salary range for this role is $60,000-$65,000. Actual salary offered may be outside of this range based on factors such as, relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. This role is eligible for company health benefit programs and additional benefits, including participation in an annual performance-based incentive program, a seasonal clothing allowance, and a 401k match program.
