Responsibilities In this role you will assist the Associate Conferences Manager with picking & packing supplies, tracking shipments, updating ExhibitDay (conference database), monitoring supplies stock, processing invoices, ordering branded materials, creating order forms, following up with marketers and editors on any conference logistics queries. This role may also require occasional travel to local conferences and/or to other Bloomsbury offices.
Requirements
Familiarity with logistical, operational, or fulfillment-focused work, including hands‑on experience with packing, shipping, or inventory processes.
Preferably 1–2 years of experience with inventory management, stock control, or database‑driven workflows
Experience with data entry and maintaining accurate records within digital systems or databases
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities related to conference schedules, seasonal workflow, and shipping deadlines.
Advanced MS Office skills, Excel in particular
Exceptionally organized and detail oriented
Ability to meet deadlines
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Adaptability
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds as part of regular job duties.
Ability to stand, bend, or move intermittently throughout the workday.
Ability to safely handle materials, supplies, or equipment associated with the role.
