
Campaign Strategy Lead

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Campaign Strategy Lead is responsible for guiding the development and execution of full‑funnel, integrated marketing campaigns across owned, earned, and paid media channels. This role drives audience engagement, pipeline growth, and brand impact through strategic planning, cross‑functional collaboration, and data‑informed execution.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE Campaign Strategy & Planning
Owns end‑to‑end strategy for assigned campaigns, including audience segmentation, journey mapping, and informing channel mix and messaging within established marketing strategy.
Develops integrated campaign plans aligned with business goals, product priorities, and audience needs.
Collaborates with growth marketing, brand and content strategy, and sales teams to ensure cohesive execution.
Execution & Optimization
Leads campaign execution across email, web, social, paid media, and other digital channels, including webinars. Support in‑person events through additional online touchpoints as identified within campaign journey creation.
Helps oversee campaign timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications using project management best practices.
Builds and optimize campaign workflows in marketing automation platforms (e.g., Acton, HubSpot, ZoomInfo).
Understands how to leverage CRM systems to build lists and monitor leads (e.g., Dynamics 365, Salesforce).
Campaign Strategy & Journey Mapping
Translates campaign strategy into compelling campaign briefs and asset plans.
Maps user journeys across touchpoints to ensure personalized and relevant experiences.
Leads segmentation strategy and planning for campaigns across the funnel, including segmentation for account‑based marketing initiatives.
Coordinates with creative and content teams to brainstorm, refine, and deliver assets on time and on brand.
Paid Media Management
Activate paid campaigns across display, search and social, as well as assist in managing media vendors and third‑party partnerships.
Monitor performance and optimize live ads based on KPIs such as CTR, CPL, and ROI.
Manage and optimize assigned paid media budgets in alignment with approved plans and performance targets.
Measurement & Reporting
Defines campaign success metrics and reporting frameworks in partnership with the Performance Marketing Analytics Director and marketing leaders, aligned to established measurement standards.
Analyzes performance data to inform future campaign iterations and strategic decisions.
Presents insights and optimization recommendations to stakeholders regularly, including the tracking of sales qualified and marketing engaged leads.
QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field from an accredited college or university preferred. Six (6) years of experience in integrated marketing, marketing automation, paid media or campaign management or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
