
Low Voltage Foreman

Location:New construction projects (commercial / multifamily)
Reports To:Project Manager / Operations Manager
Position Overview We are seeking an experiencedLow Voltage Foremanto lead field installation and programming efforts on new construction projects. This roleis responsible forsupervising crews, coordinating with project management and other trades, and ensuring high‑quality installation, programming, and commissioning of low‑voltage systems.
The ideal candidate is hands‑on, organized, and capable of leading teams through all phases of installation—from rough‑in tofinal programming and turnover.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise low‑voltage crews on active new construction job sites
Coordinate daily work activities,manpower, and materials to meet project schedules
Install, program, test, and commission low‑voltage systems including:
Access Control systems
Structured Cabling (CAT6, fiber, backbone, IDF/MDF build‑outs)
Serve as the primary on‑site point of contact for low‑voltage scope
Interpret plans, specifications, shop drawings, and project schedules
Perform system programming, configuration, and troubleshooting asrequired
Ensure all work meets applicable codes, standards, and manufacturer requirements
Maintain quality control and oversee testing, labeling, and documentation
Coordinate inspections, punch lists, and final system turnover
Enforce jobsite safety policies and lead by example
Mentor and train technicians and apprentices in best practices
Qualifications
5+ yearsof hands‑on low‑voltage installation experience
2+ yearsin a lead orforemanrole
Valid low‑voltage or electrical license(06 or equivalent, where applicable)
Strong working knowledge of:
CCTV systems
Access control platforms
Structured cabling standards and practices
Experience with new construction projects (commercial or multifamily)
Ability to read blueprints, riser diagrams, and low‑voltage drawings
Comfortable with system programming and troubleshooting
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
