Position Summary The

Field Communications Manager

is responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing all communication channels and messaging that support commercial field teams across the organization. This role ensures that Sales, Clinical, and Therapy teams receive timely, clear, and actionable information that aligns with corporate strategy, product priorities, and compliance requirements.

Reporting to the

Director of Field Marketing , the Field Communications Manager acts as the central hub for internal field‑facing communication—driving alignment, improving clarity, and strengthening field readiness across the business.

This role partners closely with Sales Leadership, Product Marketing, Medical Affairs, Training, and Commercial Operations to ensure effective communication planning, content development, and delivery.

Key Responsibilities Communication Strategy & Planning

Develop and execute a cohesive field communication strategy, including cadence, governance, and channel utilization.

Establish communication standards to ensure clarity, consistency, and compliance across all field‑facing updates.

Partner with the Director of Field Marketing to align communication priorities with commercial goals and launch plans.

Content Development & Management

Draft, edit, and package clear field‑facing communications such as product updates, launch briefs, clinical messaging, competitive alerts, and commercial program announcements.

Translate complex marketing, clinical, or operational information into concise, field‑ready content.

Maintain communication templates, brand voice consistency, and compliance documentation.

Channel Ownership & Optimization

Oversee key communication platforms (All Field announcements, SharePoint sites, newsletters, Microsoft Teams channels) including Weekly Spotlight emails.

Develop new communication channels or tools as needed to support scalability and field engagement.

Optimize and maintain a centralized repository for all field communications in Showpad.

Execute and plan of Monthly Field Call and Quarterly Sleep Matters Call.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

Partner with Product Marketing, Medical Affairs, Sales Training, and Sales Leadership to gather inputs and align messaging.

Collaborate with Commercial Operations to ensure seamless integration of communication into workflows and systems.

Participate in cross‑functional launch teams to support communication planning and readiness.

Field Engagement & Feedback

Establish regular feedback loops with field teams to assess communication clarity, relevance, and channel effectiveness.

Analyze communication performance metrics (open rates, adoption rates, feedback trends).

Use insights to refine strategy continuously.

Compliance & Quality Assurance

Ensure all communications follow regulatory, legal, and medical review processes when required.

Maintain documentation and version control for field‑facing communications.

Serve as gatekeeper to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field.

5–7+ years of experience in internal communications, marketing communications, field engagement, or related roles (healthcare or medical device strongly preferred).

Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex information.

Experience managing communication platforms (CRM, intranet, SharePoint, Teams, etc.).

Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.

Strong collaboration and relationship‑building skills across sales, marketing, and clinical functions.

Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast‑paced environment.

Salary $110,000—$160,000 USD
