We lead product creation, distribution, and brand execution for the Nike Strength product line and a new line of Nike Accessories, working closely with Nike World Headquarters to create products and experiences that inspire athletes and consumers worldwide. As we expand our Nike Accessories business, we are looking for a Sales & Merchandising Manager to serve as the commercial and merchandising owner of this growing category. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, brand presentation, and marketplace expansion across wholesale, key accounts, and experiential retail channels — ensuring product assortments, retail execution, and storytelling align with Nike brand standards while maximizing sell-through and profitability.
The ideal candidate brings deep experience in fashion, accessories, or jewelry sales combined with strong merchandising instincts and a genuine understanding of sport‑lifestyle consumer behavior.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth
Lead sales strategy across wholesale partners, specialty retailers, sporting goods accounts, and key national chains. Develop seasonal sales plans, revenue forecasts, and growth initiatives aligned with company targets. Manage relationships with major accounts including buyers, planners, and merchandising teams. Identify and secure new distribution opportunities across lifestyle, sport, and fashion channels. Collaborate with internal teams to execute account-specific product assortments and launches. Merchandising Strategy
Own product assortment strategy by channel, account tier, and consumer segment. Translate Nike brand direction into compelling assortments and retail presentations. Analyze sales data, trends, and market insights to optimize product mix and lifecycle planning. Partner with product development to influence future collections based on consumer demand and performance metrics. Ensure pricing architecture and margin targets align with brand positioning. Retail Execution & Brand Experience
Fixtures and packaging Visual storytelling Launch activations Partner with marketing and experiential teams to execute retail moments, events, and seasonal campaigns. Ensure Nike brand guidelines and storytelling are consistently represented across all consumer touchpoints. Support trade shows, market appointments, and retail presentations. Cross-Functional Leadership
Serve as the primary commercial liaison between sales, marketing, product, and operations teams. Provide forecasting input to supply chain and inventory planning teams. Collaborate with Nike licensing partners and internal stakeholders on strategic initiatives. Lead reporting on sales performance, KPIs, and market insights to senior leadership. Qualifications
5–10+ years of experience in sales, merchandising, or account management within jewelry, fashion accessories, lifestyle brands, or sporting goods. Proven success managing wholesale accounts and driving revenue growth. Strong merchandising eye with the ability to translate brand storytelling into retail execution. Experience working with premium or global brands preferred. Understanding of consumer trends within sport, streetwear, and lifestyle markets. Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to travel for customer meetings, retail visits, and industry events.
