Part-time Teller
The Part-time Teller plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service by efficiently handling routine financial transactions and inquiries. This position is responsible for accurately processing deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other banking activities while maintaining compliance with all regulatory and security policies. The teller serves as the first point of contact for customers, providing a welcoming and professional environment that fosters trust and satisfaction. By managing cash and balancing the cash drawer at the end of each shift, the teller ensures operational accuracy and integrity. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Basic math and cash handling skills with strong attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work part-time hours, including some evenings or weekends as needed. Familiarity with standard office software and willingness to learn banking systems. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a customer service or cash handling role, preferably in a banking environment. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle difficult customer situations professionally. Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Identify opportunities to refer customers to appropriate banking products and services to support their financial goals. Assist with basic account maintenance tasks such as updating customer information and resolving minor account issues. Collaborate with team members and management to maintain a clean, organized, and professional branch environment.
