Property Damage Specialist II
Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact and be responsive to clients by acknowledging the damage event and performing initial remote and on-site assessments regarding the severity of the event. Conduct remote or field research and a thorough investigation of the utility and communication damage. Develop professional relationships with clients, contractors, and personnel through regular communication and virtual meetings. Utilize knowledge of State One Call Laws and Statutes, excavator requirements, and NESC standards in investigation work. Collect and process investigation materials using proprietary software. Maintain active monitoring of assigned claims and ensure final reports are in accordance with the quality and time limits required for compliance purposes. Assist Claims Recovery team with post-investigation tasks remotely. Maintain a working knowledge of the entire claims process and stay up to date on industry developments. Requirements
Valid driver's license and current insurance (for on-site investigations) Pass a complete background check and drug test. Must have reliable transportation and smart phone capabilities to ensure claims dispatch or processing ability. Ability to use locate equipment with training and solid understanding facility types and excavation equipment. For field activity, you must be able to be outside for extended periods, and walk across a variety of terrains, including the ability to navigate uneven ground and construction areas.
