POSITION SUMMARY The Leasing Intern will support the leasing team in driving tenant engagement, market analysis, and deal activity. This role assists with tenant and broker tours, competitive market studies, and the planning of tenant and broker events. The intern will help update and maintain leasing databases, participate in building walk‑throughs with operations and leasing staff, and provide support during negotiation processes. Additional responsibilities will be assigned to help advance the team’s leasing objectives and overall portfolio performance.
Full‑time: 40 hours per week from June 1st, 2026, until August 7th, 2026.
Location: Onsite at 111 W 33rd Street, New York, NY.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Join prospective and existing tenant space tours and meetings
Complete competitive set studies
Assist in planning and participating in broker and tenant events
Assist leasing team with negotiations as needed
Collaborate on reporting projects through regular maintenance and updating of existing databases
Conduct building walk‑throughs in conjunction with operations and leasing
Provide support as directed
REQUIRED SKILLS

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and customer service skills

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
A Junior enrolled in a four‑year or five‑year undergraduate program in the graduating class of 2027 is preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times

SALARY $22.50 – $22.50 per hour. Salary is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, job location, size of property where applicable, and/or certifications. In addition to your base salary, ESRT provides discretionary annual bonuses.
