Primary Functions:

Responsible for supporting the membership for all e-commerce products and services, to include Opening Act, Account Servicing, Cross Selling Credit Union Deposit Products. Manage online account opening queues and determine appropriate membership and account product selection in accordance with credit union policy and procedures. Provide budget planning and credit counseling service to pre-selected members. Recognize and act upon opportunities to expand the member relationship. Provide feedback regarding e-commerce channels in relation to marketing efforts, member retention, and Skyla goals.

Responsibilities

Provide support to the membership for all e-commerce products and services.

Efficiently maintain Opening Act queues according to expectations.

Determine membership and account product selections based on credit union policy and procedures.

Coordinate with Digital Branch Manager to enhance the members’ online experience as it relates to system enhancements, functionality, and overall processes and procedures.

Recommend and provide feedback regarding new and innovative products or processes to enhance the introduction of online services to members.

Monitor and communicate the success of our online channels on an on-going basis.

Provide necessary disclosures to members for all e-commerce channels to ensure regulatory compliance.

Recognize and act upon cross sell opportunities to enhance the members’ relationship with the credit union during all online member interactions and credit counseling sessions.

Ensure response to member inquiries, online applications and/or questions in a timely manner; typically, within a four-hour time frame. Ensure resolution of member inquiries and/or concerns completely, accurately and professionally.

Review credit reports and underwrite credit cure loans to help re-establish members’ credit worthiness.

Analyze and recognize member accounts that are potential candidates for credit counseling.

Assist in processing & funding consumer loan applications. Ensuring completeness and accuracy of documentation collected, ensuring compliance with lending regulations and internal guidelines and policies.

Communicate with members promptly and professionally. Validate due date, loan term, payment amount, payment frequency, etc.

Maintain accurate loan records. Track loan status through completion, ensuring all applicable data entry points are complete, and all required loan documentation is uploaded within LOS.

Send payments and payoffs to corresponding outside financial institutions.

Collaborate with underwriting and lenders to ensure efficient loan processing and timely funding.

Comply with all Federal regulations, Credit Union policies and procedures, including Bank Secrecy and the USA Patriot Act.

Perform job duties in accordance with the Credit Union's values, mission and vision.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

Two to three years related lending experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proven interview skills in credit history preferred.

Thorough knowledge of Credit Union products and services.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Must be certified or become certified in Credit Counseling within a prescribed timeframe.

Places a sense of urgency in responding to members.

Self-starter, detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize efficiently.

Ability to operate computer systems with proficiency.
