What you'll do:

Lead the enterprise cloud engineering strategy, architecture, and execution across infrastructure, platforms, and shared cloud services Define and drive cloud standards, reference architecture, and engineering patterns across Oracle, GCP and Azure environments Own cloud platform design and evolution, including networking, identity, security, observability, and cost management Partner closely with Application, Data, Security, and Infrastructure teams to align cloud capabilities with business and technology roadmaps Translate business and product requirements into scalable, resilient, and secure cloud solutions Establish and enforce best practices for reliability, performance, security, and cost optimization Identify cloud-related risks early and proactively address technical debt, scalability constraints, and operational gaps Balance speed of delivery with long-term platform sustainability and architectural coherence Influence senior leaders and engineering teams to align on cloud decisions without direct authority Provide clear technical recommendations and push back when necessary, grounded in risk, cost, security, and operational impact What you'll bring:

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience Specialized Knowledge

Public cloud platforms (Oracle, GCP and Azure) and core cloud services Cloud-native architecture patterns (microservices, containers, serverless, event-driven systems) Infrastructure as Code and automation (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM) Cloud security, identity, networking, and governance models Skills

Strong architectural judgment with deep hands-on cloud engineering experience Ability to communicate complex technical topics in clear, executive-ready language Proven leadership in influencing cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders Abilities

Operate independently while leading complex, multi-team initiatives Navigate ambiguity in fast-paced, evolving cloud environments Make pragmatic tradeoffs between speed, cost, reliability, and long-term scalability Other characteristics

Comfortable challenging technical and organizational assumptions constructively Trusted advisor to engineering, product, and security leaders Bias toward action with a strong sense of ownership and accountability Professional certifications

Cloud certifications (Oracle, GCP and Azure) preferred but not required Experience

10+ years in cloud engineering, platform engineering, or infrastructure architecture roles Demonstrated experience leading cloud platforms or shared services at enterprise scale Prior experience modernizing legacy environments or leading large-scale cloud transformations strongly preferred What you'll earn

Base pay range: $172,100 - $266,800 Annual performance bonus Long term incentive (equity/stock) 401(k) with employer match Medical, dental, and vision insurance PTO, company holidays, and parental leave Paid Time Off/Paid Sick Leave: Applicants can expect to accrue 15 days of paid time off during their first year (4.62 hours for every 80 hours worked) and increased accruals after five years of service.
